How It Works

Live Homework Help is a one-to-one online tutoring service connecting kids to qualified tutors from any Internet-enabled computer. English and Spanish-speaking tutors are available. Kids, parents and teachers connect to online tutors through the library's web site - seven days a week from 2:00 p.m. - Midnight (Eastern Time). Students can use Live Homework Help as often as they need help. Please note that Live Homework Help is closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

About the Tutors

Live Homework Help completes over a million homework help sessions each school year! These dedicated professionals range from certified teachers and college professors to professional tutors, graduate school students, students enrolled in accredited universities and professionals who are experts in their fields.

Live Homework Help tutors successfully complete a comprehensive application process, which includes submitting a resume, teaching experience and teaching samples. Tutors must complete a third-party background check (students? credentials are confirmed by their university) and receive certification through the Tutor.com Training Program. We accept only about one third of all applicants to ensure that we have the high quality tutors your customers need.

Results

Students who use Live Homework Help report they are gaining confidence, completing their assignments and even improving their grades. An overwhelming 95% of students would recommend Live Homework Help to a friend and they do! That means more tweens and teens recognize the value of the library in their community.
